To follow up on the amazing success of last years `Apostrophe’ UK tour, Dweezil Zappa and his “rocking teenage combo” have agreed to return to the UK this November to perform a special selection of tracks celebrating the seminal decades of his father’s back catalogue. `The Decades Tour’ will feature material from the 60′s, 70′s, and 80′s and include music from classic Zappa albums such as `Joe’s Garage’, `We’re Only in It for the Money’, ‘Weasels Ripped My Flesh’ `Freak Out’ & `Hot Rats’

Dweezil and Zappa Plays Zappa have performed to audiences worldwide since 2006, receiving rave reviews as they go. In 2009, they were awarded a prestigious Grammy award for best rock instrumental performance for their version of “Peaches en Regalia” and were nominated in the same category in 2010 for their performance of “The Deathless Horsie”. Dweezil, who is accompanied by a host of hand-picked young musical talent from around the world, brings his father’s musical legacy to life on stage and is the only official act to do so since Frank Zappa’s death in 1993.
